A devoted pedagogue, Dr. Landman is an Adjunct Saxophone Instructor at SUNY Suffolk County Community College on Long Island, NY and maintains a private studio in New York City. He has also taught saxophone at New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, the Yale University Band Department, and other institutions in the New England area. He has presented masterclasses at schools including University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, University of Missouri-Kansas City, New England Conservatory, Peabody Conservatory, Temple University, Manhattan School of Music, Kent State University, Miami University (OH), Wesley College (RI), and as featured Guest Artist at the North American Saxophone Alliance Region 8 Conference at Bridgewater State University.
Geoffrey Landman has taught many advanced high school students through his work with the Kaufman Music Center’s Special Music School and Face The Music program, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and his own private studio in NYC. Landman’s students have been selected as finalist for the 2016 and 2018 North American Saxophone Alliance High School Solo Classical Saxophone Competition including 2nd place in 2018; won chairs in the NAfME (National Association of Music Education) All-National Honor Ensemble, and have been accepted to schools including Northwestern University, University of Michigan, SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
